In partnership with Ampere Makerspace, Queen Victoria Public School (QVPS) School Council hosted an engagement night on May 26 for families.
Ampere Makerspace co-designs and delivers programs that cultivate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) skills through innovative educational experiences.
Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, all QVPS students have had the opportunity to visit the Makerspace, culminating in a parent engagement evening where students could showcase their new STEAM skills alongside their parents and guardians.
Throughout the evening, students and their families had the opportunity to attend a one-hour session that incorporated STEAM learning, engaged in play with classmates, and learned about how they can participate in the School Council.
